Ditch Witch really went all out on the JT4020 directional drill; with its high power engine and innovative controls and anchor systems will make you feel like a drilling king. The cruise control, that maintains thrust and rotation settings and automated thread greaser make this HDD rill rig easier then ever to operate. Also equipped with touch sensitive controls and the optional enclosed cab; the JT4020 is a dream to operate while producing enormous job results. The 190 hp engine provides plenty of power to complete shots of 1000' feet and pull back multiple packages with ease. The 4020 4 point anchor system allows you to get a better anchor to help push through the toughest soil conditions or even rock if you have the All Terrain Version. The 15' rods and 2 speed carriage allows for faster rod change out and still provides plenty of low speed drilling control.
For a serious machine capable of 1000 ft bores in many soil conditions and handling multiple ducts with ease. As with most Ditch Witch directional drills; it is available in Mach1 or All Terrain. This rig is just over 20 ft long and just over 7 ft wide. The JT4020 has around 40,000 lb of pullback and thrust and plenty of torque to be able to handle the roughest conditions. The drill stem used on this rig is just under 15 ft with a rack able to hold around 475 feet of rods.
